He is a seasoned personal trainer and has worked with private clients for the past 10 years in exclusive and tailored settings across South America, the Caribbean, and Canada. Before that, he toured parts of Europe and South America with two different dance companies as a principal dancer, specializing in breakdance, gymnastics and hip hop. I understand what it’s like to be on the side of taking the first step to start a journey in fitness. It can be exciting, fun, motivating but at the same time intimidating. I’d be lying if I told you that Health and Fitness has always been a passion of mine. In the past, I’ve struggled with injuries, poor eating choices and the “I’ll Start on Monday mindset”. A couple years ago I made the choice that enough is enough. I want to be healthy. This led me to rebuilding my passion for fitness and develop the healthy lifestyle that I live today. With hard work and dedication, I managed to lose 100 pounds, build strength, decrease my injuries, run Half Marathons, and devote my life into teaching others to achieve similar goals with my Personal Trainer Certificate with the American Council on Exercise (ACE).

I’ve played soccer for over 15 years, from winning City Championships in grade 8 to competing on Seneca’s Women’s Soccer team. Along the way, I earned multiple MVP awards, showcased in tournaments, and became a National Scholar. Though soccer was my first passion, my gym journey began two years ago when joining Seneca’s Fitness & Health Promotion Program helped me break out of my shell and step into the gym. As any beginner, I was too scared and intimidated to start at the gym. Although the urge for change was much stronger and I did not want to continue being the thin girl that I was. To this day, I feel physically and mentally stronger than ever. My goal is to make any person out there, especially my ladies, find the confidence to start at the gym and find the passion to stay in the gym and strive for your goals. Now If you ever walked into a gym and felt like you wanted to leave that same day trust me, I've been there before. I remember the first time heading in I only lifted some Dumbbells for a few minutes and left immediately because I felt so out of place and didn’t know what I was doing. Yet every time that I showed up, I ended up falling in love with the process of learning and seeing myself progress after a couple of months. Although, what I mostly learned about the gym was that it was the one place where I did not feel judged. The reason I say that is because everyone is there to better themselves as an individual. I believe that every person who heads to the gym is willing to put in an effort to be a better person than they were the day before. Whether it's for aesthetics, health-related issues, or weight loss/gain I always like remembering where I first started and how far you can come. As I graduate College with a diploma in Health and Fitness Promotion I am looking forward to coaching people who want to get started in the gym or simply improve their performance on the field in their sport. My goal with any client would be to break any mental barriers and crush every workout we have to progressively achieve our goals!
